Failure Is Not an Option

People are humans too.  They understand, expect and grudgingly accept fallibility. They don't like it but it isn't surprising. The more cynical members of our race consider it the norm.

They may be disappointed if the plane is delayed, or the part is sold out, or their steak isn't rare enough. They'll forgive and move on. Almost is, usually, good enough.

Unless it's that one thing that under no circumstances can you possibly be expected to fail at. Pilots do not screw up the landing. A pizza never arrives cold. Your phone call has to go through.

What can you not afford to fail at doing?
